DIRECTOR OF ART AND DESIGN

Rich is an award winning creative professional with extensive experience in design and visual direction, print, packaging, strategic brand development, web/interactive, presentations and project management. His creative and conceptual thinking combines with his technical expertise and creative vision to bring projects from development through completion, delivering the desired outcome within deadline and budget.

Known for his ability to match design, form and function, Rich also employs a team management style which has helped develop effective design for both print and digital projects throughout his three-decade career. His enthusiasm and positive attitude is infectious, which shows through in his work and conceptual collaboration with the rest of the creative team.

He’s also known for his original thinking, targeted strategy and unique visual communications that deliver positive results for clients.

Rich is a team player whose colleagues regard him as thoughtful, intelligent, cooperative, and proactive. For these reasons, he is responsible for art department management, and for providing visual direction for all projects.

In addition, he is an accomplished photographer experienced in studio and location digital photography, and printing prepress production. He is also an accomplished fine artist specializing in illustration.

Rich is a graduate of the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art with an emphasis on Advertising and Graphic Design, with continued education in photography, web design and development.

Outside of his chosen profession, Rich holds local political office and has been a continued advocate and volunteer in many organizations and events in his community.
